Here are some pictures of the car I bought in April. The engine is a 3.0L DOHC V6 with digital throttle. It also has a nice and snappy electronic automatic transmission. This is the same L81 engine featured in the Saab 9-5 and Cadillac Catera, and delivers about 200HP. 0-60 MPH can be reached in 6.9 seconds, and 15 seconds for the 1/4 mile. The transmission will actually "compression break" the car when going down hills (saving your breaks) and does not hunt when going up hills. Also featured is a traction control system that makes use of each ABS disc break as well as retarding the engine timing in case of slippage. It works pretty well too.

Exterior is actually the Opel Vectra design, but thrown into plastic clad. And yes, its very hard to cause any damage to the panels. They also sparkle just like new. The color is Bright Silver.

Interior features leather seating and side panels, including leather-wrapped steering wheel, break, and stick. The console features wood trim and crome are featured on the door handles. Seats are heated and powered 6-way, with lumbar support. Other random features include cruise control, "advanced" 8 speaker stereo system (+ factory sub) CD/Tape unit, sun roof, power windows/doors, oil monitor, etc.

OnStar, automatic headlights, dash 6 disc changer, and automatic climate control are new 2002 features. HID's and a body redesign are coming next year.

Here are some pictures I took. This is just after I washed my car ... and on this lovely dirt and gravel road, i expect it to stay clean for a good 3 hours or so.
